Hate Mondays
I wish I could be in bed right now under my warm comfy blankets sleeping instead of being in school listening to annoying pointless people. But No, I'm in class struggling to keep my eye lids open while thinking of what else to type on this blog. Just typing whatever comes to mind just to get it over with and close my eyes for a bit.

Top 10 NBA MVP Rankings, March 2015
1. LeBron James
LeBron James is still the best player in the world, so he is still the MVP in my mind. He changes the game in every way and is the ultimate leader off the court. There is no doubt in my mind that King James is the MVP
2. Stephen Curry
Curry is the best player on arguably the best team in the league and his numbers show it: 24 PPG and eight APG. He has been the leader of the West-best Golden State Warriors, and it's obvious that he's in argument for MVP.
3. James Harden
Harden is second in the league in scoring (0.1 behind Westbrook) and is averaging seven APG. He has kept the Rockets in the top four in the West while Dwight Howard has missed almost half of the team's games this year. Without Harden this team is lost.

Secret Menu's
We've rounded up several off-the-menu, "secret" options at your favorite fast food joints that aren't quite so pedestrian. Which one are you most curious to try??
- QuesaritoWhere: Chipotle Mexican GrillSecret Status: Super Secret. (It's not on the menu anywhere.)What: A cheese quesadilla used as the shell for your burrito of choice. With two burrito shells and tons of cheese, this item can pack quite the caloric punch, so feel free to request the single-shell version instead. (They make a half-quesadilla and open it up to form your burrito.)
- Animal Style BurgerWhere: In-N-OutSecret Status: Sorta Secret. (It's featured on In-N-Out's online official "Not-So-Secret Menu.")What: A sandwich featuring mustard-fried burger patties, grilled onions, extra spread, and pickles.
- Pink Star SmoothieWhere: Jamba JuiceSecret Status: Super Secret. (It's not on the menu anywhere.)What: A smoothie designed to mimic the taste of pink Starburst candy, featuring flavors like strawberry, lemonade, and raspberry.
- Peppermint MochaWhere: StarbucksSecret Status: Sorta Secret. (The secret isn't getting one... it's getting one in July!)What: This drink is a regular menu item during the winter holidays, but is actually available year-round if you don't mind the lack of holiday sprinkle toppings.
- Land, Sea, and Air BurgerWhere: McDonald'sSecret Status: Pretty Secret. (It's not on the menu anywhere, but it's easy to assemble yourself by ordering the three sandwiches separately.)What: A Big Mac loaded with extra Filet-O-Fish and McChicken patties.

By Edwin Folven, 2/26/2015
Foundation provides $5,000 grant for L.A. High class
The dancers of tomorrow are honing their craft today at Los Angeles High School, which is the beneficiary of a $5,000 grant from the Flourish Foundation for the school’s dance program.
Just two days ago Dance Production was interview by BeverlyPress on our success on earning a $5,000 grant for our annual upcoming Spring Show, Shaping Sounds. Feeling proud and honor to be interview by Beverly Press.
“It’s definitely a stepping stone. It helped me academically in school. I graduated with high grades because I did something that I loved,” Lee said.
“During my freshman year, I saw the dance show and I saw people come together as a family, and I wanted to be part of that family,” said junior Karla Escamilla, who has been in the dance program for two years. “My goal is to inspire kids through dance. You dance, and it helps you escape from troubles in life, and have fun.”
Escamilla is the Captain of the dance program with senior Perla Jolon, who said she hopes to become a dance instructor after high school so she can inspire others.
